Our mission is to promote the art of photography and foster an active community of artists, and to be a premier educational center for the surrounding underserved communities so that every child and adult has an opportunity to learn photography.
We at the California Center for Digital Arts believe that education, service to our community, and the pursuit of beauty through technology and commitment, needs to be our business agenda and vision. We want to help young people and adults learn to use photography, writing, and technology to become artists and successful contributors in our modern technologically driven world. We feel a deep sense of responsibility to reach out to those who live in our community and we want to help our fellow citizens achieve educational and economic success through teaching our craft.
Photography will further expose our students to the pursuit of beauty, the process of documentation, and the creation of art. This pursuit will help broaden our students’ horizons and worldview. This is our vision for our school and our business. We want to give back to our community by providing an educational curriculum that promotes success, the building of self esteem, and economic earning potential for our students as they seek success in their careers and daily lives.
