BIOGRAPHY

Tony has been involved in professional photography since 1979 when his first studio position was with his sister and her husband in West Texas.  Since then he has moved through an almost inspired life that has included traveling and lecturing in more than twenty countries, has photographed three U.S. presidents, 185 world leaders at the United Nations, sports celebrities, almost 800 brides and grooms, and a handful of NASA astronauts.

In 2012, Tony passed a major milestone having taught more than 600 seminars and workshops nationally and internationally.  In 2008/09 alone, Tony spoke to over 9,000 photographers in 36 cities throughout the world including London, Glasgow, Dublin, Toronto, Vancouver, Mexico City, Sydney and many more U.S. cities. 2010 – 2012 was again busy with Tony traveling to Germany, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York, Dubai, London, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and many more than 30 U.S. cities teaching photographic lighting and image workflow processes and practices. His Basic Studio Lighting book from publisher Random House (AmPhoto) has been popular worldwide and is the basis for numerous photographic college lighting courses. Tony has written articles in nearly every major photographic magazine in the U.S., Japan, the U.K., and China.

Since beginning her career in professional photography in 2008, Mandy Lynn Lundy of Muskogee, Oklahoma has gained a lot of attention. In last year’s Professional Photographers of Oklahoma conference Mandy nabbed First Place in the Commercial category along with Best Portrait of a Man. That entry went on to win Loan Collection Awards as well. Proving that her last year’s first showing was not a fluke, this year Mandy once again wowed a panel of distinguished national and international photographic judges with her work by again taking Best Portrait of a Man, Best Illustrated/Unclassified, Best of Show and the ultimate, “Oklahoma Photographer of the Year” for the second year in a row. 2016 was her second year in the running for the coveted “GIA” Awards at Imaging USA, placing her in the top ten in award winning work internationally.

Recognized and seen often around the Muskogee community with a camera in her hand, Mandy has most recently been backstage at numerous local events such as covering shows for the Swon Brothers, from NBC’s The Voice, documenting for local and regional newspapers and magazine publications including the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Her work goes beyond simple documentary images, as she tries to find a way to tell a unique and authentic story with each commercial, editorial, and portrait assignment.

Mandy moved her business into a beautiful “north light” studio in downtown Muskogee. Here she captures a few high school seniors, compelling images for women, families, and scores of magazine and commercial assignments. Her on-location work has become more and more in demand as she is now also doing more political and magazine photography.

She makes her home with photographer Tony Corbell, her two children, dog, cat, several raccoons, deer, possums, rabbits, skunks, etc. out in the hills of eastern Oklahoma, where friends are always welcomed (especially when they bring guitars).
