Brief Itinerary for Pre-tour option
Day 0 Feb 27: Arrival
Arrival in NBO. (Calculation based on guests having a late arrival in Nairobi). Pick up from the airport then transfer to Kazuri Safari Camp (or similar depending on group size) 1N stay (BB)
Day 1 Feb 28: Arrival and transfer to Aberdares
After breakfast Drive from Nairobi and head straight to the Serval camp in the Aberdares. Here there are only 7 beds available. Check in, have lunch and start game drives to spot for black serval cat, Giant forest hog and other animals. The camp is not a lodge so the food is basic but good. The focus here is Wildlife.

Day 2 Mar 1: Early morning scouting for black serval cat with game drives.

Day 3 Mar 2: Early morning game drive, spotting for the serval cat. Around noon we pack and do enroute game drive to the gate. After depart for Laikipia for overnight at Ewaso Elephant Crossing Camp as we join the other group members to start the main safari.

Day 1 Mar 1: Arrival

Day 2 Mar 2: Laikipia
Drive from Nairobi to Ewaso Elephant crossing Camp with some urban on route. Upon entering Nanyuki, we are in the bush and start to see native animals.

Day 3 Mar 3: Laikipia
Enjoy a full day game drive as per schedule to track the black leopard. The guides focus on fresh tracks and recent sightings to follow its movements. The experience is immersive and unhurried, allowing time to observe other wildlife along the way. Ewaso Elephant Crossing Camp – FB
Day 4 Mar 4: Laikipia

Day 5 Mar 5: Nyeri
Early morning game drive. After we drive to Rhino Watch Safari Lodge. For the late afternoon you will be in the bird hide and take pictures of the various bird life of Rhino Watch area. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Watch Lodge – FB
Day 6 Mar 6: Solio Enjoy a full day game drive with box lunch at Solio Game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Watch Lodge
Day 7 Mar 7: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast we depart to Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. Stay at Kongoni Lodge. In the afternoon we plan a boat ride to look for hunting African fish Eagles. After dinner we depart for a night game drive looking for spring hair and maybe the aardvark. Dinner and overnight at Kongoni Lodge – FB
Day 8 Mar 8: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Morning boat ride for bird watching. After breakfast we depart to Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive for late lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Reserve with dinner and overnight at Mara Big Five Camp- FB
Day 9/10 Mar 9, 10: Full days in Mara Enjoy TWO full days in the Mara with box lunches in the reserve. Dinner and overnight Mara Big Five Camp- FB
Day 11 Mar 11: Amboseli
Depart from Mara after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes. There is a new road that takes us in 5h to Amboseli National Park. We enter from Namanga site and do a game drive right away. Dinner and overnight at Praro Camp – FB
Day 12 Mar 12: Full day in Amboseli
On this day, we look for TC, the famous big tusker. There is a Masai that is taking care of the big tuskers and they spend day and night with them. After lunch game drives as per schedule.

Day 13 Mar 13: Full day in Amboseli Full day Amboseli with game drives as per schedule. Meals and overnight Praro Camp
Day 14 Mar 14: Departure
Early morning game drive, breakfast and check out. Return to Nairobi for your International departure or optional Mombasa extension to the coast.

Excluded in the above package:
- Items of a personal nature i.e. beverages, laundry, telephone, souvenirs etc.
- International flights / taxes and Visa fees
- Travel / medical / cancellation insurance
- Tips & gratuities for driver, guide, and hotel staff
- Extra cost incurred if change in itinerary / flights etc.
- Entrance charges & any arrangement to any excursions in Nairobi
- Any extras not mentioned above i.e. meals, activities etc.

The group size is limited to 9 to 12 participants to ensure a high level of personal interaction, planning, and guidance with your photographic leaders.
- Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your space in the tour is not confirmed until your $1,000.00 deposit has been received.
- Half of the remaining balance is due 180 days before the start of your tour.
- The remaining balance is due 90 days before the start of the tour. Need special payment arrangements? No problem, contact us.
- These payments for this tour are non-refundable under any circumstances, as noted in our Payment Terms for International Photography Tours and our other standard Terms and Conditions, which is why we recommend that you get trip cancellation insurance. Our tours occur in international locations that require international travel and lodging arrangements, substantial planning, insurance, deposits, and permits. If you wish to protect your investment in the tour and travel costs, you may want to investigate travel insurance with a carrier such as Travelex, American Express Travel, Allianz.
- Registrations made within the 180-day and 90-day milestones or less are subject to the payment and cancellation policies stated herein.
- Please do not make air travel arrangements for a tour until checking with us first.
- If we need to cancel a tour for some reason, you will be given a 60-day notice and receive a full refund of all payments.
- If you are on a waiting list, you will not be charged a deposit fee until space becomes available for you and you confirm your desire to register.
