Outdoor Lighting Workshop: Creating Studio-Style Lighting Outdoors with David LaNeve

Tired of fighting harsh sunlight and dark shadows? This workshop will teach you how to get studio-style lighting outdoors. Designed for photographers of all levels, this interactive class will help you master outdoor lightning techniques using a variety of lighting scenarios. These techniques will be used to modify sunlight, create dramatic shadows and highlights, and you will gain an understanding of the interaction between light and shadow to add depth and dimension to your compositions.

This workshop will take place in a beautiful hacienda-style historic private residence. Students will rotate around multiple stations, having an opportunity to spend a designated amount of time working with different models and settings. With these practical exercises and personalized feedback, you will develop the skills and confidence to overcome any outdoor lighting challenge.
