DAY 00: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our Safari representative. Transfer by hotel shuttle to the hotel. Dinner on your own arrangement. Overnight at CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL, AIRPORT (Bed & Breakfast).
DAY 01: A Day in Nairobi. After your morning breakfast, enjoy a day in Nairobi. We will be visiting The Giraffe Center, the Karen Blixen Museum, hosted lunch by Sharon & David at the Karen Blixen Tea House, possibly a visit to The Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage & The Natural History Museum of Kenya. Dinner on your own. Overnight at CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL, AIRPORT (Bed & Breakfast).
DAY 02: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve (Approx. 6.5 hours drive)
After an early sumptuous breakfast, your driver guides will pick you from the hotel and drive to the semi-arid desert Reserve of Samburu. Situated in the northern hemisphere of Kenya, this is one the loveliest Reserves in terms of landscape and wildlife where you will have the chance to see rare animals such as the Grevy Zebra, the long necked Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe and the Beisa Oryx. You will stop on the way for lunch. Proceed to arrive at your camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at SOROI LARSENS CAMP (Full board basis).
DAY 03: Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy unlimited game drives in Samburu National Reserve at your convenience with driver / vehicle at your disposal. All meals and overnight at SOROI LARSENS CAMP (Full board basis).
DAY 04: Samburu National Reserve – Olpejeta Conservancy (Approx. 2.5 hours drive)
After breakfast, depart to Olpejeta Conservancy to arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Enjoy one afternoon game drive in Olpejeta / Mutara Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at JAMBO MUTARA CAMP (Full board basis).
DAY 05 (31st August 2024): Olpejeta Conservancy
A full day in Olpejeta with unlimited game drives to include a visit to the chimp sanctuary or you could enjoy activities like guided walks, visits to the Manyatta, night game drives, Lion tracking (activities payable direct) offered in Olpejeta. Meals and overnight at JAMBO MUTARA CAMP (Full board basis)
DAY 06: Olpejeta Conservancy – Lake Nakuru National Park (Approx. 3.5 hours drive).
After breakfast, drive to Nakuru to arrive at your hotel for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at SAROVA LION HILL LODGE (Full board).
DAY 07: Lake Nakuru National Park
Full day in Lake Nakuru National Park with unlimited game drives. Meals and overnight at SAROVA LION HILL LODGE (Full board).
DAY 08: Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli National Park (Approx. 7.5 hours drive)
After breakfast, depart to Amboseli National Park with packed lunch to arrive in the afternoon with a game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at OLTUKAI LODGE (Full board basis).
DAY 09: Amboseli National Park
Enjoy an exciting day in Amboseli National Park. We recommend that you get up early morning where one can experience excellent game viewing and an unprecedented view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your safari lodge for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your lodge and take in the African wilderness. Afternoon game drive in anticipation of seeing the “BIG FIVE”. Dinner and overnight at OLTUKAI LODGE (Full board basis).
DAY 10: Amboseli – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Amboseli airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve with Mombasa Air aviation departing at approx. 0915hrs to arrive at approx. 1030hrs. Your driver guides will then drive to Masai Mara empty. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by the camp vehicles and transfer to the camp for check in and lunch. Afternoon game drive in the camp vehicles. Dinner and overnight at SOROI MARA BUSH CAMP PRIVATE WING (Full Board basis)
DAY 11 – 13 : Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy the days in Masai Mara with unlimited game drives. All meals and overnight at SOROI MARA BUSH CAMP PRIVATE WING (Full Board basis)
DAY 14: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home. Or you may reserve a day room prior to evening departure or a post-safari overnight at CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL for an extra charge.

Additional Information:
The group size is limited to 9 to 12 participants to ensure a high level of personal interaction, planning, and guidance with your photographic leaders.
- Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your space in the tour is not confirmed until your $2,000 deposit has been received.
- Half of the remaining balance is due 180 days before the start of your tour.
- The remaining balance is due 90 days before the start of the tour. Need special payment arrangements? No problem, contact us.
- These payments for this tour are non-refundable under any circumstances, as noted in our Payment Terms for International Photography Tours and our other standard Terms and Conditions, which is why we recommend that you get trip cancellation insurance. Our tours occur in international locations that require international travel and lodging arrangements, substantial planning, insurance, deposits, and permits. If you wish to protect your investment in the tour and travel costs, you may want to investigate travel insurance with a carrier such as Travelex, American Express Travel, Allianz.
- Registrations made within the 180-day and 90-day milestones or less are subject to the payment and cancellation policies stated herein.
- Please do not make air travel arrangements for a tour until checking with us first.
- If we need to cancel a tour for some reason, you will be given a 60-day notice and receive a full refund of all payments.
- If you are on a waiting list, you will not be charged a deposit fee until space becomes available for you and you confirm your desire to register.
